In which size did you order the chain crystals? They come in different sizes, the bigger they are, the faster your bra will be covered...
How are you gonna sew them on? Shiny fabric tends to show every needlepick, especially if it has some padding underneath. if you don't want to push the needle through the bra, buy a bended needle (like a half-circle), that way you can pick up the fabric without pushing the needle through.... I don't own one of these myself, but often wished I had one :)
Also, try to figure out a way to change the back straps, as they will give away that it is a 'lingerie' bra....My vintage gold bra is also made of a normal bra, I'll bring it to class so you can have a look at it, might get you some ideas...
